What to do... What to do...

As I said before, I don't know what to do with this blog. I like the idea of taking a photo every day and posting it, but I'm too neurotic about my camera. I always think that I'm going to break it or I just look like the biggest idiot when I take a photo. I don't know why, but that's how my relationship is with my camera. And it's a pity too because it's a really cool camera. It's a Kodak one with 9.1 mega pixels I think... 9 or 8 anyway, I can't remember.

Well it's RAG Week in the very loverly University of Limerick next week. I had planned on dressing up as Spider-man for the week to raise money, but apparently if you want to do something like that you have to sign up a week in advance, or be a really hot girl. Damn my manly good looks.

So yeah, RAG Week... Raise-And-Give... I missed it last year due to my work experience and in first year it wasn't that great, so forgive me if I don't sound excited. I have an essay and a presentation due soon, not to mention another ASS-ignment where I have to interview a journalist and submit the interview as a slideshow presentation with sound and such. So apologies if I'm not in the mood for the festivities. Although I do plan on going to see Japanese Popstars in Trinity Rooms this Thursday. They're a dance music band/thingy from Northern Ireland as far as I know, and they're pretty good. They're more like Explosions In The Sky that and of that horrible dance crap. I'm not the greatest fan of Trinners either, but you can't go wrong with seeing a band you like for a fiver!

On a lighter note I did manage to submit Cultural Theory essay on Friday, so yay for me! I celbrated this by cooking dinner for the family as I was in a very happy mood and I love to cook. I also had a mini-movie marathon all on my lonesome. I watched about 8 Charlie Chaplin movies. I love silent movies and especially Chaplin's :) They just have a certain quality to them that modern movies don't have. It's the rough and ready camera shots and the horribly edited footage which gives it it's charm. I just love them! This was sparked by a viewing of Smile in a tutorial I had last Tuesday. I have no idea what relevance it had to whay we were talking about, but I wasn't complaining :)
