I got back from a camping holiday yesterday and had the uncontrolable urge to use my watercolours. I have them over a year now and only started using them in the last few months. So I drew this very simple robot purely for something to practice with, but I really like it :) I know the colour changes from red to orange to yellow pretty drastically, but it was fun to paint.
This actually got me thinking about robots more as I started to draw it, and I have started drawing a few more to practice painting with. So far I have Marvin from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the movie), a cartoony version of C-3PO, Bender from Futurama and the robot from Metropolis. I may even make a proper post on my ideas of how we will one day be controlled by robots :P
Oh and on another note, we got a puppy today! He's a black and white collie and we named him Mario. I wanted to name him Mumbles but unfortunately my little sis wasn't having any of it. She can be a stubborn little minx when she wants to be.
